14 For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.
We should not be attached to this world, because all that we are and have here is temporary. Only our relationship with God and our service to Him will last. Don't store up your treasures here, store them in heaven. (see Matthew 6:19-21 below)

19 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. 21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
