People
are always telling me to have a “good day,” or have a “great day.” Usually I
respond with “you too.” Every so often I give a different reply, “almost all my
days are good”, “I only had one bad day in my life.” That day was September 15th,
2003. That was the day my 19 year old daughter took her own life.

What
could I have done different?
When
you lose a child, you lose a part of yourself.
Parents,
take the time today and listen to your child. Really listen to what they have
to say. It’s important to them, make it important to you. Then hug them and
tell them how much you love them. Tell them you will always be there for them.
