13 So prepare your minds for action. Control yourselves. Put your hope completely in the grace that will be given to you when Jesus Christ returns.
The imminent return of Christ should motivate us to live for Him. This means being mentally alert ("prepare your minds for action"), disciplined ("control yourselves"), and focused ("put your hope completely"). Are you ready to meet Christ?
